A team from Temasek Polytechnic has developed a portable speed tester for the Land Transport Authority (LTA) that can check the maximum speed of e-scooters and e-bikes even while they are stationary, or standing still. This means officers no longer need to see you in motion to figure out if your ride is illegally modified.
